American Idle

The pride of Hurricane, Utah, a small town just north of St. George in the southern end of the state, Taylor Vaifanua sang “If I Aint Got You” by Alicia Keys.

The sweet but Amazonian 17-year-old girl from my home state of Utah had a nice run but it’s over. To her credit, she picked it up toward the end of the song but it won’t put her through.

Listening back it sounded better than it originally had, but I think Kara nailed it on the money when she said she “didn’t know her own personality.” She may be back sometime in the future, though.

And man she looked tall standing next to Ryan. Hehe.
