I’ll be the first to admit that Alex Wagner Trugman surprised me, singing a unique rendition of “I Guess That’s Why They Call It The Blues,” a classic Elton John song.

A little guttural, which is strange considering it’s an Elton tune. But it worked for the most part and you know what?
