What could have been the biggest reality TV couple since Speidi is officially no more.

Holly Montag told this magazine that while it was fun while it lasted in Costa Rica filming “I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here” with Sanjaya, it’s over between her and the star of American Idol 6.

Holly did say that the pair went up to Seattle to meet Sanjaya’s family and that they still plan to take a Hawaii vacation together.

Um, how does that sound like these two aren’t getting together at some point in the future?

I smell sequel written all over this relationship. The question is when? Spencer Pratt says he’ll back Sanjolly 100 percent and anoint them as the biggest “superstar couple.”

I give it a few months before we start hearing about a reconciliation, even though the two are still friends and talk all the time.

Our resident jungle boy Sanjaya was finally eliminated on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here, but not until he gave us many moments to remember for all time.

First off, who knew Sanjaya was such a man of the jungle? He looked like the Crocodile Hunter out there, totally in his element.

And he was a favorite of the campers, especially Janice Dickinson, who basically used Sanj like her slave out there. Of course, Sanj had no problem with it, since he looked up to the supermodel.

Finally, he found romance with Holly Montag, Heidi’s sister from The Hills. Aww…now they’ll be forever known as Sanjolly and Speidi say they have a bright future ahead.

Only three people remain in the jungle for the finale: actor Lou Diamond Phillips, former NBA star John Salley and WWE wrestler/Playmate Torrie Wilson.

What were your thoughts about Sanjaya making it as far as he did on the show? Did it surprise you?

Sanjaya won yet another challenge on “I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!” last night and made it look ridiculously easy.

He faced off against lame-ass Janice Dickinson because Americans are too stupid to realize that Janice actually doesn’t pose a threat to anyone, expect maybe to herself.

Other than that, Sanjaya was right in his element as he tread the “flash flood challenge” for three minutes, unlocking all six locks while water was rushing into his box. After that he kissed a tadpole. Awww…

When Janice tried to do the same thing she got as far as one lock and then quit, like the whiny little diva she is. Then she went back to doing nothing.

But in a twist, Sanjaya had an opportunity to eat a bull testicle to become the leader in the house later in the show and refused. This showed some weakness to me, and I don’t know if it will be good for him later.

Now that Daniel Baldwin is in the game, there are now three people who have a good chance to win it, Baldwin, Sanjaya and Lou Diamond Phillips.

But Sanjaya will always be the jungle boy, whether he wins or not.

Even though Spencer and Heidi are getting all the publicity, Sanjaya is taking to this competition like a duck to water.

He’s won every challenge so far, but something tells me Lou Diamond Phillips is waiting for him to slip up. I think Sanjaya has the goods to win it all, though, and get his name back in the spotlight.

That would be nice, since Speidi are getting all the pub right now.

Sanjaya kicked off what he hope will be a return back to the spotlight on the hit reality TV show “I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here!” which is currently airing on NBC Mondays through Thursdays until June 24.

He may have found his groove, because he had absolutely no problem chowing down on things like iguana’s tail (blech!) and cow intestine milkshakes.

Yummo! And you have to dig the haircut, it looks like he took one of those “Flowbees,” you know the ones that look like vacuums and did his ‘do up right. One thing I do know is after watching last night, Sanjaya’s in it to win it.

And tune in every night, like I will , to see what Sanjaya will do to survive.

Wow, what a crazy week! American Idol 8 showed it’s gonna be a force to be reckoned with, again, after some ear-splitting and melodious performances. But because our coverage is limited to only Idol 8 during the week, we missed out on some big news from Idols past.

First up, Jason Castro, in spite of still not telling us when his album will be released (or if he even has one in production) is still playing small gigs. That tells me he’s doing something, even though only he knows what that is. LOL Here he’s performing “Hallelujah” after the premiere of Amar A Morir at the Santa Barbara Film Festival.

Bucky Covington has been doing things in the country music world for quite some time now and his success has surprised some folks, me included. But you can’t fault the guy’s work ethic; he’s back in the studio and is ready to release a new single. He may just be the James Brown of country.

And what is with this picture of Clay Aiken? Uh-oh…we got a bad boy on our hands! LOL Of course the paparazzi picked up on this playful photo like cockroaches crawling on dirty dishes, but whatever. Hey, he’s just happy because his run on Spamalot is over, OK?

And don’t look now, but Sanjaya is back in the news, just in time for whatever it is he’s doing. Like putting out a book, for example. And talking about possibly taking some photos in the nude. But other than that, I would like to know who gave this kid $100,000.

And finally, in some real interesting news (seriously!) Ace Young has reportedly been tapped to co-host American Idol Extra with (drum roll please, thanks) Jillian Barberie, that loud-mouthed Canadian/ex-FOX football/Good Day weathergirl.  Talk about an interesting couple. Hehe. Like Steve before her (if you know FOX Good Day you’ll get the joke) Ace will probably want to kill himself before the third episode.

Speaking of somebody who hasn’t had much of a forum lately (because he’s basically fallen off the face of the Earth), Sanjaya is back! The last time we heard from Sanjaya, he was doing a commercial for Nationwide Insurance. But now he’s got a new EP coming out, called Dancing To The Music In My Head, as well as a book with the same title. (Picture above.) Both are due out January 20! That’s only two weeks away, people. I’d imagine it’s gonna do pretty well, considering both items have been in the making for quite some time. The other thing we don’t know about (but may soon) is whether or not Sanjaya and his sister are still doing that variety show. I know it was in the planning stages but that it hadn’t gone beyond that. If somebody can let us know, that would be great!

And finally, we do have some news from Idol 8. The Orlando Sentinel says Phoenix will be the first stop next Tuesday, followed by Kansas City the next day. What that means is you’ll probably get to see Emily Wynne-Hughes (or Miss Barracuda) as well as Perrie Cataldo from last season in the valley of the Sun, since it has been reported he made at least the Hollywood round in season 8. As for KC, you might see Michael Castro, Jason’s brother and possibly Lara Johnston, who is the daughter of Doobie Brothers lead singer Tom Johnston. All four have reportedly made the later rounds of the competition. And we may have another Top 50-er, named Lil’ Rounds (Yes, it’s true) although the reports that Wynne-Hughes made it may have been premature. Some blogs are saying she was cut sometime during the Hollywood rounds. Either way, I have a feeling we’ll see a lot of Emily before her time in the spotlight is through. She’s been on several Idol commercials and was working in the salon where Britney Spears shaved her head. That alone is newsworthy.
