Danny Gokey Debuts New Song At Local Salt Lake City Radio Station - American Idol

Published by americanidol at 9:42 pm under Danny Gokey Edit This

Danny Gokey has received some unfair criticism for his latest single “It’s Only” off of his album, but after getting some feedback it’s obvious that not everybody knows what they’re talking about.

Gokey is already drawing a sizeable following for his debut album and so the listeners at K-BULL 93 FM Radio in Salt Lake City, David Archuleta’s stomping ground and mine, were treated to something new.

Gokey sang “Tiny Life,” for the Johnson & Johnson morning show. It is not an original Gokey tune, because it was actually written by Jeffery Steele and Marv Green and first performed in 2005.

Listen to Gokey’s new single below:

So enjoy some more Danny Gokey! I’m sure we’ll hear soon about the release date for his album. In the meantime, look for a digital release of some Gokey singles in December.

This is a very pretty song, kudos to Jeffrey Steele for the song and Danny for his performance. Danny was a little sick this day, but still worked so hard to deliver the song beautifully for the radio listeners.

Really liked the other two country songs already debuted for Danny’s album (at dannygokey.com). I think this will be a great addition to my collection of country CDs.

Gokey is 3/3 in my book; the first two songs we’ve heard were very well produced with great vocals. Tiny Life, the new one seems like it has a lot of promise.
Really looking forward to seeing what is on the rest of the album.
