Leslie Hunt From American Idol 6 Is Back With A New Song
The Sigourney Weaver lookalike (or stand-in, if you will) is back from the nether world with a new song, “American Dream Man.”
She was solid in season 6, the infamous year that saw Sanjaya rocket to unknown heights of fame.
And Hunt was solidly crazy during the auditions and Hollywood Week. At no time did I ever think Leslie was capable of such a great song, but you know what? People do surprise me, and Hunt is no exception.
The song is catchy with a capital C, and it’s not annoying like other songs I won’t mention that have been released recently.
With some solid airplay this one may have some staying power, but only time–and sales numbers–will tell.
