This Just In: Michael Jackson NOT The Father Of Two Oldest Kids

Published by bjcrock under Uncategorized Edit This

jackson-rowe.jpg

First, we had four days of how great a person Michael Jackson was, and now we get the backlash.

Damn, this guy isn’t even buried yet and the media is having a field day with all of this information. Can we at least bury the guy first, before going after him?

Apparently, we can’t for whatever reason. US Weekly has basically ripped apart whatever dignity Jackson had after his death.

They’re claiming Jackson’s dermatologist, Arnold Klein, is the father of Prince Michael and Paris Michael. The mother is still Debbie Rowe, Klein’s assistant that Jackson married and later divorced.

“He is the dad,” says a Jackson insider. “He and Debbie signed an agreement saying they would never reveal the truth.”

Though neither Rowe nor Jackson ever confessed to their kids’ true lineage, she did admit in 2002 that she carried his children as a personal favor (and would not confirm that the marriage was ever consummated).

“I said, ‘Let me do this. You need to be a dad. You have been so good to me,’” Rowe — who met Jackson when she was a nurse’s assistant in the 1980s — has said.

So…that brings us to the $1 billion question: who is the father of the third child, “Blanket”? And who is the father and mother of this kid? I think the third one is Lisa Marie Presley’s and Michael’s.

I can’t wait for THAT bombshell, because you know it’s coming…

David Cook Has A Moment Of Silence For Michael Jackson - Video

David Cook always does things in a classy way. For example, instead of singing a song that would have been below par in comparison to The King Of Pop, Cook just had a moment of silence.

That’s a far cry from the people (no names mentioned) who actually tried and failed to deliver even a decent perofrmance of a Jackson song.

There is a reason that MJ’s The King of Pop, you know, and it’s one that a lot of people, professional singers included, are forgetting these days now that MJ is gone.

But Cook didn’t and that’s why he’s okay in my book. He’s real, he’s genuine, he’s been through some shit in his life like MJ and his fans love him. He is a true American Idol and this gesture proves it.

Gene Simmons Is Talking Shit About Adam Lambert Again

adam-kiss-01-2009-05-21.jpg

Gene Simmons is back on his damned soap box again, preaching a bunch of crap that nobody wants to hear. Again.

Didn’t we already have to listen to this guy spout off a bunch of nonsense about how Adam Lambert wouldn’t be a rock star?

Now he’s going off on Lambert’s homosexuality and Simmons simply doesn’t think America will “forgive” Lambert for whatever he did (?) to them by coming out in Rolling Stone.

Here’s Simmons’ take on Lambert:

…He’s enormously talented, best talent ‘American Idol’ has had, but I think he killed his career because now the conversation is not about his talent but about his sexual preference. He’s done. You’re forcing people to deal with issues they may not be interested in. Life is unfair, and the masses don’t all live in L.A. They live in Wisconsin and Nebraska, and you’re on crack if you think the same rules apply there. My advice is still the same, shut the f*** up, just sing and let people say whatever they want. But I do wish him the best because he’s got all the talent in the world. If only the world was not homophobic, but it is.

If only some people who shouldn’t be talking about things they don’t know about weren’t so stupid, but they are.

Michael Jackson’s Final Rehearsal Photos Are Creepy

Published by bjcrock under Uncategorized Edit This

jackson-final-rehearsal.jpg

I really, REALLY wanted to stay away from this madness surrounding the tragic death/possible murder of the King Of Pop Michael Jackson, but these latest photos and video here are just too much.

If he looks this gaunt, then how in the hell would he have been able to perform a 50-show tour? That’s my question and it’s one that hasn’t been answered by anyone, including the people who paid him, AEG Live.

Now comes the news that the company may already have Jackson’s final performance “in the can” as his last album. Talk about bullshit. Here’s more:

Press reports have said that AEG Live stands to lose tens of millions of dollars from the unexpected cancellation of Jackson’s 50-date London tour.

But any audio and video release of the final concert would undoubtedly sell millions — if not tens of milllions — of units worldwide and would be the music industry’s equivalent of a license to print money.

Jackson had failed to appear at many of the scheduled rehearsals in Los Angeles over the past two months. But he did show up at a full rehearsal at the Staples Center of his scheduled July 13 London concert on the night before his death.

The rehearsal, which went on for several hours, included dancers, musicians and aerial performers. Three people close to the production said it had been captured by multiple cameras, and the audio digitally recorded in a manner that could be used to produce a surround-sound DVD and audio products.

Some are already speculating Jackson may not have died of natural causes. While it’s way too early to speculate, it does raise my suspicion when a company like AEG Live invests all of this money in him, he doesn’t show up to all of the rehearsals as per the terms of his contract and then, all of a sudden, Jackson’s no longer with us.

Yeah, things are a little messed up at the moment.

Sorry Ladies, Ace Young Is Taken

Published by bjcrock under Uncategorized Edit This

ace-allison.jpg

In what is gonna come as a huge shock and disappointment to many fans of Ace Young, the star of season five, he’s now off the market.

Ace is now engaged to Allison Fischer, a 20-year-old with whom Ace is starring with on Broadway in the musical Grease.

Young has always been a favorite of the ladies who like American Idol and this news will do doubt put their panties in a wrinkle.

But you can’t blame the dude for wanting to get with somebody. Frankly, it’s better he gets together with Fischer than some stalker who wants to carry around a locket filled with his saliva.

I’m just speaking the truth here, you know. Also, Young is a cool cat, a laid-back dude from Colorado so this girl probably fits him well. Best of luck to the Acemeister and Allison!

American Idol 8 Superstars Rehearse For Upcoming Tour

The Idols got together this past week for a rehearsal and it was the first time that the public has been allowed to hear them before they embark on their Idols Live! tour in early July.

I’ve gotta say…I’m impressed with their harmonies! This is some of the best stuff we’ve had the pleasure of hearing from any of the Idols tour groups, now or ever. “Don’t Stop Believing” by Journey is a phenomenal song and the Idols handled it with aplomb.

Season 8 was definitely special and ground breaking and I think at a time where so much change happened in this country in such a short period of time, it was nice to have this diversion.

Couple that with the sudden news of Michael Jackson’s passing, most of which the American public is still coming to grips with, and season 9 will have to be extra special to top this group.

So get out and see these season 8 performers, because they can bring the noise!

Ridiculous Romances Afoot In Idol Land - American Idol

americanidolseason8top13party35-thumb.jpgamericanidolseason8top13party17-thumb.jpgkid-rock-kellie-pickler-dating-500x559.jpg

In the “WTF is the world coming to?” category, we now have the news that Anoop Desai and Megan Joy may be dating.

It’s only obvious where those two met. You would have to be stupid not to know that! But for those who might be, Anoop and Megan met while on American Idol. You know, the show they were on for months together!

But that’s not all. Speaking of stupid couples, Vote For The Worst is reporting that Kellie Pickler and Kid Rock may be dating too, although neither Pickler nor Kid Rock have confirmed. These two humdingers met on a USO tour and have been chummy ever since. I personally like Pickler, and I think that her stupid “act” is just that, an act, since she is educated. But her with Kid Rock? That’s a double WTF, if you ask me.

What this tells me is: A. The world may be going to hell in a hand basket; B. Two heads may be better than one, except in the case of the latter couple; and C. Both couples will have some singing ability.

Anoop’s coupling with Megan is a bit strange, considering Megan has a load of tattoos and Anoop is about as straight-laced as they come.

Pickler’s supposed romance with Kid Rock is also bizarre, because she is a country bumpkin and Kid Rock enjoys bumping with Pamela Anderson.

But hey, what do I know? Perhaps these “power couples” will figure it all out and live happily ever after. But I doubt it.

Adam Lambert, Kris Allen Have A Man Crush On Each Other - Video - American Idol 8

Adam Lambert and Kris Allen declared to the world they have a man crush on one another in a recent interview, which you can see above.

So…does the fact these two have a man crush detract from anything going on in the show, or do you just think it’s a joke?

American Idol 9 Dallas Auditions Attract 10,000 To Cowboys Stadium

Published by bjcrock under American Idol 9 Edit This

ai-dallas.jpgai-dallas-2.jpg

The Dallas auditions of American Idol 9 went down today, with over 10,000 brave souls surviving the 100-degree heat for their shot at fame.

Another first was that the tryout was held at the new Cowboys Stadium, an impressive building indeed.

Notable entries in this year’s Dallas auditions (that I know of offhand) were Antoria Gillon, a former Star Search contestant also made somewhat infamous for becoming the first AI auditioner several years ago to give birth during the audition process.

And, who can forget Michael Castro, Jason Castro’s brother, who made it all the way to Hollywood last year before being cut prior to the mansion episode. He has a good shot of making it even further this year, and has abandoned his wild rooster cut for something more contemporary.

All told, Texas has been good to American Idol, so there will no doubt be some good singers that come from these auditions.

Breaking News: Michael Jackson Dies At 50

Published by bjcrock under Uncategorized Edit This

mj.jpg

Michael Jackson was rushed to UCLA Medical Center today and died there after suffering a cardiac arrest at his home. He was 50. Wow. The King of Pop, gone. Damn.

And right before he was set to go on his comeback tour, which would have gained him many more fans from a generation that, frankly, needs them, in spite of all the negative things that have surfaced about Jackson’s personal life. Many more who would have learned the moonwalk and possibly another like Jackson, who had a vision and could have given us the world.

What made Jackson so unique was his unflinching desire, right or wrong, to blaze a trail in music that nobody could duplicate.

It’s always hard when somebody of this stature goes well before their time and I feel like I did when I heard about 9/11 or when I heard Kurt Cobain died. Well, the music business has a huge void in it now, doesn’t it?
