Ryan Seacrest interviewed Kris Allen on Larry King Live this past weekend–and we’ll have Part II after tonight’s airing–and it was pretty good.

Allen talked about how he thought Ryan was gonna fake him out and choose Adam instead, even while Ryan was announcing the winner.

Allen also talked about his faith and answered the question related to Danny Gokey fans voting for him.

He said he hoped it didn’t come down to religion, which I felt was good for him to say and spoke volumes about his character.

He had nothing but nice things to say about Adam, too, and it has to be the best part of the season; that there wasn’t any bad blood between anyone.

And he talked about his wife Katie in rather endearing terms, which also speaks well of him. Overall, Allen’s a nice guy and the interview brought that out.
