The only person who got out his guitar this evening, it seemed to put Kris Allen at ease on a night where he really had to bring it.

Now that his girl has actually shows her face on national TV, his fan base might dwindle a tad, but his singing hasn’t.

The heartthrob of Idol 8 started out well and by the end of the song had everyone humming the tune.

There is something about Allen that is likeable and I think having that guitar present only helped him in that regard.

Paula summed up the thoughts of millions of teens when she said he was “adorable/sexy,” which is a new word but it works.

Simon added the vocals are okay, but that’s not why millions are voting for this guy. Let’s be honest. And Simon suggested Kris may have wanted to keep his wife home for a few more weeks.
