This was another song that had been sung before, but it sounded better than it had. The ladies loved it! Simon called him an “enthusiastic dog.” Randy said he sounded better than last time. Paula, who looked like she was on something, said he is doing “nasty” moves. And Kara said she wanted to dance.
But they held out the suspense as long as they could–again–probably because they knew he could handle the pressure. In the end, though, it was all good for Anoop Dog, who is hereby the first-ever finalist chosen 13th on American Idol!
So congratulations to Anoop Dog, who with his following is gonna go a long way in the competition. A shocking, but a worthwhile and well-deserved accomplishment for Anoop, who goes in the history books and is the last singer chosen for this historic Top 13.
