Casey Carlson - Another “Bikini Girl” In The Competition - Kansas City Auditions - American Idol 8
After watching Bikini Girl, er, Katrina Darrell, tear up the stage and get a ticket to Hollywood I thought, OK, so there will be one semi-porn star in the show this year. Nope. There will be at least two, now that Casey Carlson has also made it too.
Carlson auditioned for the judges in Kansas City last night and her goody-goody looks to go with her perfect smile may have been a put-on. Apparently she’s used to posing for pictures as you can clearly see above. This isn’t the first time Carlson has smiled for the camera.
In my view at least she didn’t show up wearing a bikini to the audition so right there she has something over Bikini Girl. Plus she was a much better singer than Bikini Girl, actually making singing “A Thousand Miles,“ a Vanessa Carlton tune look pretty easy.
The judges were unanimous in their praise of her and so she may be somebody to watch out for in Hollywood. You can listen to her audition above. In the meantime, how many other “bikini girls” are gonna be in the competition? I’d guess at least three more.
Already Idol 8 is looking like a fashion show instead of a singing competition.
