We have an early Holidays present for everyone and it happens to be a double-treat!

It’s always nice to hear that someone is doing something good for the community and it sounds like David Archuleta is really stepping up and helping out those less fortunate. Especially with the way the economy is right now it’s important to provide assistance to the needy.

Archuleta was in Toronto at a radio station there (CHUM-FM to be exact helping raise money for toys for needy kids in Greater Toronto. He also stepped in and sang his hit song “Crush,“ accompanying himself on the piano.

Also at the event was Canadian Idol winner Theo Tams, who sang his new song “Christmas Dream” with his ever-present piano for what looked to be quite a few fans. Although Tams is not as well known as Archuleta in the U.S., he has already got a rabid fan base up north.

If you don’t know a lot about Tams, think David Cook’s voice with a rounded repertoire, a double-threat if you will, since Tams is an excellent piano player.

Tams’ fan base has been building in Canada since he enjoyed massive popularity while on Canadian Idol, which chose Tams as its winner this past fall. So it’s no surprise to anyone that Tams and his album are having success in Canada and hopefully his luck will transfer to the U.S. as well.
