David Archuleta Performs “Crush” For Today Show - American Idol 7 - David Archuleta
To help launch his new self-titled album (Which is out today, people! Order it here!!!) and to perhaps take some heat off of his epic “liner note scandal” (Hehe) David Archuleta was in the Big Apple, er New York, this morning.
His first stop on his lengthy itinerary was The Today Show. Later in the day (Mid-afternoon, lad) he will entertain the teens on MTV’s Total Request Live up in Times Square (and hope that millions of screaming girls will buy his album, in spite of not-so-good reviews).
And finally Archie will cap off his whirlwind day at the Virgin Megastore at 7 p.m. EST. It is a place wherein again marriage will be proposed to him at least 100 times, he will sign copies of his album (and shirts and hats and CD’s and well…chests) and he will go gently into that good night, even if it is midnight and there are people clinging to the window sill of his hotel room.
Yes, folks, every night these days is a good night for David Archuleta, but that’s how life works when you’re 17 years young. Ah, the good old days. May they last forever and may he at least get a platinum record.
In order to that though, the fans are gonna really have to step up. Because from all the folks I’ve talked to, it’s not a sure thing. What do you think? I know you have opinions.
