In a sign that the world may certainly be nearing its end Katie Price may be coming ashore to be a guest judge on American Idol 8. Never mind the fact Price isn’t exactly known for her singing (although husband Peter Andre certainly is). Rather, she is more accustomed to making men sing.

Simon Cowell thinks it’s a splendid idea to have American teenagers ogling over her spray-tanned physique and fake breasts.

This much I will say; the ratings for that particular week will skyrocket like protrusions do in mens’ pants. There aren’t many American males (and females, I dare say) who don’t know about Katie Price, Jordan her alter ego and her breasts, silicone though they may be.

My question is, why doesn’t Cowell have Andre be the guest judge? After all, he’s the one in the family who sings. And though he isn’t as well known over here as he is in Europe (he’s basically a sex symbol over there) he could be. So why not give him a shot to show America what he can do? Let him sing a few songs, win over the ladies? Who knows, maybe Peter Andre is the new Tom Jones.
