David Cook Says His Fan Club Helped Crash Sony BMG Database - American Idol 7 - David Cook
Here’s a bit of interesting chatter: David Cook is reporting that his own fan club so liked his new single “Light On” that they helped crash the Sony/BMG database.

Heh. Those crazy fans. What ya gonna do? You can’t fire them, else they wouldn’t buy your music and you can’t kill them, for the same reason.
So, the question is: How happy is Sony with David Cook at this very moment? I’d say the suits are pleased, because a database crash equals more numbers for them, but the blue-collar tech geeks aren’t, because they probably had to stay late and fix the problem. At any rate here’s Cook explaining what went down…on my other site. I could have dropped the feed here, but apparently Today.com doesn’t use feeds from other media sources, unless it’s YouTube. Note to editor: must…fix…embed feeds…for…WordPress…among other things.
Guess the Cookeys (Cook’s fan club) have some explaining to do, too.

Stumble It!
